These two happy Angora girls, Ollie and Vivian, live on our farm in rural Northeast Pennsylvania. They are very curious about what's going on around the barn and always ready for a snack.
Angora goats originate in Turkey and were brought to North America in 1849. Their fiber is known as Mohair or Angora. The lustrous mohair gives this yarn strength and is blended with a local soft and springy Dorset wool that is the perfect sock weight yarn and dyes beautiful.
This 3 ply yarn weighs in at 3.5 ounces and is 425 yards perfect for socks.
